The Slope Intercept GAME!!! YAY!!!!

Hello fellow mathematicians!

We have been studying linear equations and slope intercept -- so to give you an opportunity to practice your skills in a fun way, I want to introduce you to "Karrapan Poochi" -- otherwise known as ALGEBRA VS. THE COCKROACHES!!!!! Can you use your mighty slope intercept skills to eliminate all of those pesky bugs before they eliminate you??

As you play the game, I want you to consider the following:

** How far (as in what round) can you get?

** what do you notice about each successive round?

** What do you notice about the steeper slopes?

** What do you notice about the more moderate (flat) slopes?

** What strategies did you try to attempt to quickly discover the slope? Which strategy worked best?

** In what ways has playing this game sharpened your skills with identifying slope and intercept, and creating the appropriate equation?

** What other observations did you make?
